Plymouth Sound Fish - Large Screen Print

A funky 4 layer screen print from my print series "The Wildlife of Plymouth"!

There are some crazy-looking fish out in the Plymouth Sound! I’ve never been out there myself, I’ll stay on land thanks, but the NMA has a large collection of our local fish! This print features, from the top, the Bull-Huss Shark, the Cuckoo Wrasse, the Gurnard (freak), the Mackerel, the Boarfish, and the Snipefish!

Screen printing is a traditional method of printmaking, printing one colour at a time, layer by layer using a silk screen. This means that the colours often blend and line up with each other differently per print, making each one different from the last!

These prints are approximately 34x28cm.
All prints are hand-trimmed so some may be a centimeter or two bigger/smaller than others.
